We at CMH Mazda Umhlanga will go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and quality service, but we also care just as much about the less fortunate, disabled, education and animals, so Team Mazda Umhlanga geared up in their tekkies to show our support on National Tekkie Day on the 27th May 2016. All proceeds were donated towards various welfare organisations to help to create a better life for others. In Tekkie Tax, a mix of the most accountable welfare organisations joined forces to do one very big campaign where you can choose whom YOU want to benefit from your donation. This is saving a lot of money and creates a platform for organisations that normally do not have the infrastructure to engage in this model of fundraising. Donating some of your hard-earned cash to a worthy cause can be a road full of potholes. Not all welfare organisations render an accountable service, and you need to make sure that you are supporting a trustworthy campaign! By supporting the beneficiaries of Tekkie Tax, you can rest assured that they have been hand-picked, personally visited and all their credentials from shoe size to preferred toothbrush have been verified. So, in short – your donations will be treated with the highest respect and will be used to make life a better place: for people, children and animals! Which-ever one you choose. CMH Mazda Umhlanga We at CMH Mazda Umhlanga would like to welcome Mr Brad-lee Ferreira to our New Vehicle Sales Team! Brad happens to be an avid car fanatic, which should have a positive impact in taking his sales executive experience to the next level. After completing his schooling career at Durban High School, Brad moved over to the UK to coach Rugby, which he is passionate about. Brad returned to SA and went on to become the General Manager at Wimpy for a year, which allowed him to gain vast experience in the retail sector. This was clearly evident as Brad occupied the General Managers position at Pennington Auctioneers from 2013 to 2015. This Virgo is loyal, analytical, kind, hardworking, practical and the friendliest guy you will probably meet. Meeting and interacting with people is something that Brad enjoys, which will surely make his occupation a much more enjoyable one! His love for sports cars and in specific, the legendary 1968 Ford Mustang GT500, clearly displays his love for refinement and the finer things in life. With characteristics of a seasonal salesman, his adventurous spirit, and undying motivation, Brad’s goal to move in a management position and one day become a dealer principle is very much realistic! All-New Mazda MX-5: 2016 World Car Of The Year

The  All-New Mazda MX-5 has won the 2016 World Car Of The Year and World Car Design of the Year making the Mazda MX-5 the first car to win both titles in the history of the awards and becoming the second Mazda to win the world car of the year award, following the Mazda2 in 2008. Mazda2 Takes 3rd Place at Car of the Year Awards

Mazda 2 Car Of The Year Mazda continues to add the long list of international awards with the Mazda2 taking the third position in the South African Guild of Motoring Journalists Car of the Year awards (SAGMJ COTY). For a compact hatchback to only be bested by Volvo’s game changing XC90 SUV and the equally impressive Ford Fusion luxury sedan, bears testimony to the Mazda2’s impressive credentials, cementing its reputation as best in class. With the previous generation Mazda2 already a SAGMJ COTY winner in 2008, and with the all-new model having already taking top honours in the Japan Car of the Year 2014-15 as well as being awarded a Golden Steering Wheel 2014 in Germany, and Good Design’s Gold Award in Japan, the Mazda2 impressed local motoring journalists as well as buyers with its funky design, high specification level, and involving drive. Judged by a panel of 26 motoring journalists, 12 finalist cars are chosen to compete for Car of the Year and are awarded points and scored on a variety of categories including interior design & practicality, exterior aesthetics, safety & technology, performance, handling & dynamics, efficiency, value for money and overall excellence.
