The refined 2017 BT-50 Facelift has expressive styling, high-quality interior and outstanding driving dynamics that reflect Mazda’s DNA.The Mazda BT-50, first introduced to the South African market in 2012, was launched as an “Active Lifestyle Vehicle” with modern and refined styling that defied the conventional work-horse image of a bakkie. The intent was to not only attract traditional business users but to extend the appeal to a wide range of customers, including families and pleasure-seekers. Now in 2017, the Mazda BT-50 Facelift is being introduced to further cater to these recreational buyers who enjoy both the outdoor and urban lifestyle.
The facelifted Mazda BT-50 maintains the versatile practicality and exhilarating driving performance of the current model whilst updating the design gives it a sportier and more powerful presence than ever before. New exterior styling incorporates a newly designed front face, redesigned side steps, rear combination lamps and 17-inch aluminium wheels. The interior has also been refined to give a higher-quality feel with the addition of Bluetooth, Steering Wheel Switches and Cruise Control from the SLX model. The SLE model picks up new features that include a rear-view camera, an auto diming mirror and electrical driver seat adjustment.
The BT-50 Double Cab will be available in the following derivatives: 2.2L 4×2 6MT SLE, 3.2L 4×4 6MT SLE and 3.2L 4×4 6AT SLE as well as new model derivatives 2.2L 4×2 6MT SLX and 2.2L 4×2 6AT SLE. Produced and fully imported from the Auto Alliance (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (AAT), plant in Thailand, the facelift offers seven exterior colour options; True Red, Aluminum Metallic, Cool White, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue, Blue Reflex and Titanium Flash.

The BT-50 Mazda Care plan is now aligned with that of Mazda passenger vehicles; with a 3-year unlimited kilometre factory warranty, 3-year service plan and 3-year roadside assistance.

We are proud to announce our new bigger and better “New Vehicle Department Showroom”. We were used to being described as the “small dealership” behind this and next to that. Now we are literally on the corner of a big interchange (Jan Shoba and Burnett streets) out in the open, in your faces where everybody can see us, just the way we like it.
After long negotiations, consideration and planning, we finally got the confirmation that the new showroom were to become ours and we could start with all the new renovations, for there were a lot to be done before moving over. On the 1st of December 2016 we had our grand opening with more than 20 new Mazda vehicles on the floor (where we were only used to 8 cars on the floor), 6 Salesmen, a Sales Manager, a Stock Controller, an F&I Manager and a Kids Play Station all in one showroom – What a blessing!
We could not be any happier. The “old” building still consists of the Used Car Department (just bigger now), Parts Department and Service Center and all is functioning as normal. Feel free to come and have a coffee with us (our coffee is the best) if you want to buy a new Mazda or even just to come and browse through our new showroom anytime you are in the area (especially when you have nothing to do on a Saturday).

Frank Rawson is the used car manager at CMH Mazda Randburg. He has been in the motor industry for the past 44 years, as a DP and Used car manager mainly within the CMH and Barloworld groups. Because of the love and passion, he has for cars, he enjoys imparting this knowledge to his sales people.
He is a motor guru.
Patricia Gwebu has been F & I Manager for 7 years, because of her competency she recently won an award for the best F & I in new cars department within the CMH group. Amongst a few women in her position she sets a good example for woman who are making a difference within the F & I and motor industry at large.

Elize is the service manager for CMH Mazda Randburg, she started her journey within the group as a service receptionist in 2004. Her commitment and knowledge resulted in her being appointed manager. The workshop is her second home she always strives to be the best that she can be. Customers service is her priority
First to debut in this new series of technologies is G-Vectoring Control (GVC). This system engages by finely controlling engine torque that is based on the steering and acceleration of the driver, resulting in improved handling for the driver and ride quality for the passengers around corners. G-Vectoring Control will be introduced to future new-generation models starting with the new-look Mazda3.
The Mazda3 model range has been enhanced with the addition of the Mazda3 2.0L Astina Plus derivative. Available in 4-dr and 5-dr, the new Astina Plus model comes with advanced safety features which traditionally and until now have been available on more ‘high-end’ vehicles. Standard features include Smart City Brake Support (SCBS), Adaptive LED Headlights (ALH), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Driver Attention Alert (DAA) and Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM), which is also available on the Astina derivative.
A few exterior enhancements have debited on the new-look Mazda3 model such as, the Mazda badge which sits slightly higher than on previous models, redesigned foglight surrounds, alloy wheels and side skirts. New colours are also available and include Eternal Blue Mica, Sonic Silver Metallic, Soul Red Metallic and Machine Gray Metallic.
