The new Mazda BT-50 is set to arrive in South Africa in 2021, There was a time when describing a bakkie as “handsome” or “striking” could get one banned from braais, but the new BT-50 cuts a fine figure. There are elements of the Mazda’s Kodo design language in the sweeping crease lines that flow from the grille to the side mirrors. In its most luxurious spec, the BT-50 features leather trim, automatic climate control and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The front seats are comfy and supportive, the steering column is reach- and rake adjustable and, to Mazda’s credit, the finishes feel substantial and the controls well-weighted. Hot on the heels of its nearly identical sibling, the 2021 Mazda BT-50 will be coming soon, with the brand hoping to capitalise on what is undoubtedly a high-quality platform. You also get reasonable leg and headroom, separate ventilation outlets, a fast-charging USB port, a fold-out armrest, 3 adjustable headrests, seat pockets and a bottle holder in each of the rear doors. The seat can also tumble forward in a 60:40 split if you’d like more luggage. In conclusion, the 2021 Mazda BT-50 is looking more likely to be a great addition to the Mazda brand, coming soon to CMH Mazda Durban.

To say that the novel Covid 19 (Corona Virus) Pandemic has changed the world would be an understatement. The pandemic has changed how we work, learn, and interact as social distancing guidelines have led to a more virtual existence, both personally and professionally.

Service department team

Despite all the challenges that we faced this past year CMH Mazda Randburg service department strived to excel and provide the best possible customer support and expert service to our valued customers. Our service department is run by the knowledgeable Hanno Roux who enjoys interacting with customers and always aims to go the extra mile to meet customer needs.

The 35year old has been in the motor industry for 10years. He joined the CMH group in 2014 and has worked his way up the ladder to where he is now. He started as a service advisor and during those 10years Hanno has won a couple of customer champion awards.

We would like to take this moment to congratulate our dedicated Service manager as he recently won an award for the Outstanding Improvement in the CMH awards night that was hosted on the 1st of June 2021. Comprehensive Cover insurance policy

Comprehensive cover is compulsory if your car is still financed, even though it may be a bit more expensive it is the best insurance you can get even if your car is fully financed. The following are covered on your comprehensive insurance, damages to your car when involved in an accident (excluding access fee which is a payment that you have to make when you have a claim.), full or part of the damages to any other car(s) that were directly involved in your accident which we call third party cover, Fire that damages or destroys your car and lastly, Theft or hijacking of your car (some policies do not cover this in full or with higher excess that you have to make).

Accident

Third party and theft cover, with this cover you are not covered for damages to your car therefore it is more cost-effective to have this type of insurance. Keeping in mind that you may not be able to replace your car if it is written off. You are covered for Damages caused through fire and theft or hijacking of your car.

Third party cover is the cheapest and will only cover you for other cars damaged in an accident and not your vehicle.

Comprehensive Cover insurance

You can insure your car for retail value or market value or maybe you can save on your premium and insure it for its trade value (which is the value dealerships use to pay out when you want to trade in your vehicle). The retail value of your car is the average of what the same vehicle is currently selling for at a dealership and is the highest price you can insure it for. The trade value is what you would get if you traded it in. The market value or fair value is the average between retail and trade value. The value of your car further depends on the condition and mileage of the car.

For many driving, that dream car means getting finance through a bank or another financial services provider. However, should your car be stolen or written off in an accident, there may be a gap between its insured value and the amount owing to the finance company. Easy Steps To Change Your Mazda Tyre.

It’s an unfortunate reality that flat tyres are not really a thing we can plan for. It’s never a nice moment when you hear a thump, pop or flapping noise that tells you your car has a flat tyre. Punctured or flat tyres can happen to any vehicle and can be mild or severe, depending on what has caused the issue and what area of the tyre has been affected. The good news is if you are prepared, there are some simple steps you can follow to change your tyre safely and get back on the road to your destination. Mazda vehicles come equipped with the items you’ll need, which can often be found in a recessed area of the boot. These items include a spare tyre, a jack and a wheel brace. flat tyres CMH Mazda Randburg has compiled a few easy steps to help you in the unfortunate event: The first step is to slowly pull over and try to park from a safe distance from the road away from the passing vehicles. Put on your hazards lights and make sure your Mazda vehicle is parked with your handbrake on. The next step will be to loosen your wheel nuts by one turn. Remember, turning a bolt or nut anti-clockwise will normally loosen it, whereas turning it clockwise, or to the right, will tighten it (lefty loosely, righty tightly…). Try a quick anti-clockwise jolt to loosen, or if you need more force, carefully use your foot or get your body weight behind the brace. Once all the nuts are loose, look at your Mazda vehicle’s manual to find the correct point to place the jack. Slowly wind the jack to raise the vehicle until there is about a 5-10cm gap between the road and your tyre. Remove each wheel nut completely and put them in a safe place. Slowly remove the flat tyre and place it under the car (using it as a support mechanism just in case the jack gives way). Take your spare tyre and line it up with the wheel holes before placing the tyre onto the wheel hub. Put the wheel nuts back into place and tighten them as far as you can using your hand.
