Description

The Volvo XC40 B4 runs a 48V-assisted 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 170kW (4800-5400rpm) and 300Nm (1500-4200rpm). The B4 Plus is front-wheel drive, with a 0-100km/h time of 8.4 seconds. The XC40's interior hasn't changed all that much since its debut, though the biggest addition comes in the form of a Google-backed infotainment system. While there are a few buttons and a dedicated volume knob, nearly all of the XC40's controls and settings are tied to the touchscreen, including audio settings and climate control. Being a Volvo, the XC40 has a strong safety suite and also gets driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, pilot assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert with forward and rear collision mitigation.
