Run/Walk for Life for a Charity Fundraiser
CMH Mazda Hatfield partnered with Fun Run/Walks for Life Rietondale for a fun run to raise funds for charity, with all proceeds going to the Phyllis Robertson Home for disabled adults.
Great cause and great people. With free entrance for all children under the age of 12 years, the event welcomed adults and young participants alike. Entrants over 12 years forked out R35 for the 3,5 km and R75 for the 7 KM run/walk. Organisers made provisions for wheelchair and pram-bound eventgoers, making it a fun family event.
The Hatfield team arrived early in the morning to prepare and ensure that luxurious Mazda vehicles were on display before the runners arrived at the event. The stylish Mazda CX-5 led our runners and allowed some of them to experience Japanese luxury.
The attention to detail and build quality in the Mazda CX-5 is sublime. Tongues couldn’t stop wagging, and heads couldn’t stop turning. At some point, we felt terrible for bringing such distractions to a charity event.
Joining us at the event was the sporty and vibrant Mazda3. What a show-off! A total of 10/10, no arguments there. Speaking of discord, a debate on the origins of the Mazda3 ensued, with some doubting its Japanese footprint.
The thing with Japanese craftsmanship is the attention to detail, precision and techniques refined and passed on to produce quality.
To say this charitable event was a success would be an understatement. It surpassed all expectations, and all gratitude goes to Fun Run/Walks for life Rietondale for allowing us to be part of this good cause. It was a fun and memorable event for all of us at CMH Mazda Hatfield.
