Congratulations Hannahli van den Berg on 15 Years Service To CMH

We would like to congratulate Mrs Hannahli van den Berg on her 15 years (it`s actually 18 years) of distinguished service to CMH. We like to think that she is part of the asset list, but no number has been issued to her yet. We at Mazda Hatfield had the privilege to be working with Hannahli since December 2013 up until today. Is she planning on leaving any time soon?  Is she planning on leaving any time soon? “I’m very happy at CMH and I know how they operate and this is like my family! Why would I leave?” Lets get to know Hannahli a bit better:

What makes you stay at CMH? Once a CMH baby, always a CMH baby. It gets into your blood. “Better the devil you know than the devil you don’t”. What is it you specifically do here at CMH Mazda Hatfield? Debtors and Creditors Clerk What haven’t you done yet in a dealership? I’ve been in all Departments. Started at the Switch board, then went to parts dept. doing admin and selling parts to the Workshop. I Was a Service Advisor, Warranty Clerk, sold New cars and I was an Assistant Accountant. I also Invoice vehicles at times, when our Invoicing Clerk is not at work. Thus, I believe all that is left is being a Manager and Dealer Principle Hahahaha Does this award actually mean something to you? Yes of course. It shows me that in this very large group/firm the people isn’t just a number and gets recognised for their service and achievements. How do you keep yourself motivated? There is always something to learn every day. I love the people I work with and the atmosphere of this branch, is a BIG bonus. I’m also furthering my career by studying – I am busy with a diploma in Accounting. This gets me excited and keeps me motivated. I am all for “Personal growth” and “Career Growth”.   What is your most favourite memory with CMH, whether it was at work or at a function? There are actually so many: When I was working at CMH Steyn’s Auto, we were on the first floor. The Parts Department’s roof was outside the window, so I would climb out the window and go to Gloria and Annemarie’s (colleagues) window and scare the living daylights out of them. At one Christmas party Marlene and I taught Ray Nethercott and Vernon Beck, how to use spoons as musical instruments. Give us an interesting fact about you, that none of your colleagues know? This is a difficult one. I am usually the one that talks too much, so I think everyone that knows me will tell you I am what I am and at times, too straight forward. I don’t think anyone at Mazda knew I’ve sang before, but the people at Steyn’s will remember that I love singing and music. Favourite food and colour? Sushi, Sushi and Sushi. I love bright colours yellow, red etc. What do you most enjoy about life, like your hobbies? I love to socialize and mingle and I love being around people that enjoys life with me. My family, husband and daughter, are my everything, thus one of my hobbies is making sure that they are happy. Well there you have it, getting to know a little of, as we like to call her – “Antie Hannah”. Knowing her in person is a real joy. She always finds a way to make things positive and its highly unlikely that you will hear a negative thing coming out of her mouth. Just don’t give her a fright in the hallways of the dealership.
