Would You Buy a New Mazda2 Estate?
Theophilus Chin who refers to himself as an ‘Automotive Manipulator’ has taken to the Photoshops and given us a glimpse of what the Mazda2 might look like in station wagon form.
Building off the recently released Mazda2 Sedan, Chin’s makeover leaves me for one, wondering why Mazda wouldn’t consider building a B-segment Estate. There is no Mazda3 C-Segment estate, so the chances of a Mazda2 Estate are remote to none.
Saying that, as a nation South African’s in general are not very keen on the idea of Estate cars, far rather enjoying the extra ground clearance and higher seating position offered by cross-overs and compact SUVs.
Pity, because to the automotive enthusiast, the estate wins hands down for practicality and driver involvement.
What do you think? Would you buy a Mazda2 Estate?
